Microsoft Search Ads
As a Microsoft Search Ads expert, I build keyword campaigns around buying intent, with tight ad groups, negatives and ads written for Bing searchers.
A FRESH ROUTE TO SEARCH DEMAND
I set up and manage Microsoft Advertising campaigns that reach searchers on Bing, Yahoo, Microsoft Edge and partner sites. Search, Shopping, Google Ads imports and conversion tracking from an experienced Bing Ads specialist.
THE MICROSOFT ADS EXPERIENCE
Bring your search strategy to another channel with thoughtful setup and a fresh review of the opportunity.
Assess how the available audience and placements fit your offer.
A Microsoft Ads expert manages paid search campaigns in Microsoft Advertising, the platform formerly called Bing Ads. Ads appear on Bing, Yahoo, AOL, Microsoft Edge and partner sites. The work covers importing or building campaigns, keyword and bid management, UET conversion tracking and ongoing optimisation for lower cost leads and sales.
BING ADS EXPERT
Google gets most of the attention, and for good reason. But a meaningful share of searches, especially on desktop computers and work laptops, still happen on Bing and the Microsoft network. Windows devices, the Edge browser and Microsoft products all send people there by default.
That audience is often a bit older, more likely to be searching from work and, in many markets, has strong buying power. In some industries, Microsoft Ads bring in leads at a lower cost than Google because fewer advertisers compete for the same keywords. That is not guaranteed, but it is common enough that most search advertisers should at least test it.
I have 15 years of experience in paid search, including Microsoft Advertising since its Bing Ads days. As your Bing Ads expert, I make sure your campaigns are built for Bing, not just copied from Google and forgotten.

MICROSOFT ADVERTISING SERVICES
These are the parts of my Bing Ads management. Most clients start with search and add the rest once the basics are working.
As a Microsoft Search Ads expert, I build keyword campaigns around buying intent, with tight ad groups, negatives and ads written for Bing searchers.
Microsoft lets you import Google campaigns. I do this carefully and then fix bids, budgets, targeting and settings that do not carry over well.
I install the Universal Event Tracking tag, set conversion goals and check that leads and sales are counted correctly.
Where available, Microsoft lets you adjust bids by company, industry or job function using LinkedIn data. It is very useful for B2B advertisers.
For online stores, I set up Microsoft Merchant Center and Shopping campaigns, often using your existing Google product feed.
As a Microsoft Ads optimization expert, I review search terms, devices, time of day and locations every week to keep costs in check.
MICROSOFT ADS VS GOOGLE ADS
Microsoft Ads is not a replacement for Google. It is an addition. Here is how they differ in practice.
| Factor | Google Ads | Microsoft Ads | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|---|
| Search volume | Much larger | Smaller | Microsoft adds extra reach rather than replacing Google |
| Competition | Usually higher | Often lower in many niches | Clicks can be cheaper, depending on market |
| Audience | Broad, mobile heavy | Older, desktop heavy, often at work | Good fit for B2B, finance, education and high value services |
| Unique targeting | Google audiences and signals | LinkedIn profile targeting where available | Strong for reaching job roles and industries |
| Setup | Built from scratch | Can import from Google | Faster setup, but imports need review |
BING ADS MANAGEMENT
If you already run Google Ads, we can be live on Microsoft Advertising quickly. If not, I build from scratch with the same care.
I check search volume for your keywords on Bing and estimate whether the channel is worth testing for your market.
I create or review your Microsoft Advertising account, install UET and set conversion goals.
Campaigns are imported from Google or built fresh, then adjusted for Bing bids, budgets, locations and ad copy.
I review search terms closely in the first weeks, as Microsoft's matching can behave a little differently from Google's.
Profitable campaigns get more budget, and I test features like LinkedIn targeting and audience adjustments.
How Bing searches turn into leads
BING PPC EXPERT
The import tool is useful, but blindly copying Google campaigns causes problems. Bids that make sense on Google can be too high or too low on Microsoft. Some settings and extensions do not match exactly. Search partner traffic can need closer checks. And if you import automatically every day, mistakes get copied too.
As a Bing PPC expert, I use the import as a starting point and then treat Microsoft as its own channel. That includes separate budgets, separate bid strategies where needed, and reports that judge Microsoft on its own numbers.
The chart shows the areas I most often adjust after an import, based on my own account work.

IS MICROSOFT ADS RIGHT FOR YOU?
I always tell clients honestly whether Microsoft Ads is worth testing. It tends to work best in these situations.
If you are just starting with paid search, I usually suggest beginning with Google Ads and adding Microsoft once Google is working.
HIRE A BING ADS EXPERT
You can hire me as a Microsoft Ads freelancer for full management, as a Microsoft Ads consultant to guide your team, or as a Bing Ads campaign manager for a specific campaign. My Microsoft Advertising services work well for businesses that already run Google Ads and want to grow search volume without simply raising bids.
I work from Scheme 3, Rawalpindi, with clients in Islamabad, across Pakistan and in international markets where Bing has a larger share. The account stays in your name and you can see everything I do.
Adding Microsoft Ads to a search mix
COMMON BING ADS MISTAKES
Most Microsoft Ads accounts I review were set up once and then left alone. Because the platform is smaller, it gets less attention, and small problems run for a long time. These are the ones I see most often in Bing Ads management.
Daily imports copy every Google change, including mistakes and settings that do not suit Bing. I import once, then manage Microsoft separately.
Without working conversion tracking, automated bidding has nothing to learn from and reports show clicks with no outcomes.
Search partner and syndicated traffic can be useful or wasteful depending on the account. I review it and exclude poor sources.
Microsoft audiences behave differently by device, time and location. Budgets and bid adjustments should follow Microsoft data, not Google habits.
Fixing these usually improves results quickly, because the underlying keywords and ads are often already sound.
MICROSOFT ADS FOR B2B AND HIGH VALUE SERVICES
Many people use Bing at work because it is the default on company Windows machines and in Microsoft Edge. That puts Microsoft Ads in front of office workers, managers and decision makers during the working day, when they are actively researching suppliers and services.
Combined with LinkedIn profile targeting, this makes Microsoft Ads a strong fit for software, IT services, consulting, finance and training companies. Many software houses in Islamabad and Rawalpindi that sell abroad find it a useful second search channel next to Google.

USEFUL TO KNOW
Yes. Bing Ads was renamed Microsoft Advertising in 2019. People still search for a Bing Ads expert, and it means the same thing.
On Bing search, Yahoo and AOL search, Microsoft Edge, and selected partner sites, depending on your settings and market.
Often, but not always. Lower competition can mean cheaper clicks in many niches. It depends on your market, so I check costs before recommending it.
Yes. Microsoft has an import tool. I use it as a starting point, then review bids, budgets, settings and tracking so the campaigns suit Bing.
You can target Pakistan, but Bing has a smaller share of searches there than in markets like the US and UK. For Pakistani audiences, Google usually comes first. Microsoft is strong for businesses targeting Western markets.
Universal Event Tracking is Microsoft's tracking tag. It records conversions and builds remarketing audiences, similar to the Google tag.
Microsoft offers LinkedIn profile targeting in many markets, letting you adjust bids by company, industry or job function. It is one of the platform's biggest advantages for B2B.
